SALA Exhibition LANDWORKS concludes with Don Dunstan Award

Opening on August 2nd at Red Poles Gallery, Mclaren Vale the LANDWORKS show was one of the most ambitious to date. Two tonnes of red dirt were shipped in accompanied by a variety of plants and foreign materials, transported down from the studio to build a complete land work within the traditional gallery space.

Featuring nine works, the LANDWORKS show marks ten years of living and working in the remote backroads of the South Australian deserts. Curatorially, the show felt like an open journal beginning with simplicity and discovery leading its way into the complex and constructed worlds that i’ve come to live within.
